English ceremony
My name is Mariëlle Pluymen and as a wedding officiant and ceremony speaker I will gladly perform your ceremony in English.
How? Spontaneous, personal and with humor. Getting married is a party and so are my ceremonies. Cosy, informal and light-hearted.
I have been a certified wedding officiant (BABS) at the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn since 2020. As a wedding officiant I am allowed to perform weddings in almost all municipalities in the Netherlands. In addition to my work for the municipality, I work on behalf of MarryElle as an independent wedding officiant and ceremony speaker and I am quite proud of this magical job.
Until the end of 2022, I worked as a Hospitality Manager and was responsible for the Facilities Department of a large company. I am hospitable, helpful and like to make sure everything runs smoothly. No problem is too crazy for me and is solved with a smile. And because of this job English is no problem for me at all. I used this language on a daily basis and every year I perform several ceremonies in English.
What may you expect from me if I become your wedding officiant?
At your place, we will go in depth, get to know the both of you, and we will design your ceremony
Personal helpline for all your questions surrounding the ceremony
I will give you a little bit of homework
I collect stories from family and friends
I will take care of the necessary documents and marriage certificate (if applicable)
Just before your big day, we will go over the details on the phone
A custom made and personal speech
A relaxed and fun ceremony with humor
My ceremonies revolve around your story and together we make sure the ceremony exceeds your expectations. There is more possible than you think....
Rate 995,- euro incl. VAT & travel expenses (excl. municipal wedding fees) for weddings in 2025.
